Highly unlikely Lu is is one of the best but with markstrom coming up soon we don't want another unmovable contract because if he comes here he is not leaving. And I think VAN wants way to much for him most likely anyway. |

No need for Luongo. Theodore has another year, and he deserves it. He can mentor Markstrom. What did strike me peculiar is that Dale was quoted yesterday that he is trying to resign "key guys" and that included Clemmensen. While I think he did a good job, it makes me wonder if Tallon thinks Markstrom is really ready to take the next step and stay with up with the team. No matter what though, Theodore, Clemmensen and Markstrom leaves no room or further thoughts on Luongo. |

I was thinking the same thing with Markstrom. I can't see Tallon wanting Luongo's contract clogging things up there.
I think Esplen's off his nut thinking that Luongo is going to fetch a bunch of players and prized prospects in return. I think in the end, Luongo will stay in Vancouver and Schneider will be the one that is moving. Gillis should be able to get a good haul for Schneider in a trade. |

I think Esplen's off his nut thinking that Luongo is going to fetch a bunch of players and prized prospects in return. I think in the end, Luongo will stay in Vancouver and Schneider will be the one that is moving. Gillis should be able to get a good haul for Schneider in a trade.

No way on earth that Tallon makes a move for Luongo. He does not like contracts that long and no trade clauses and we are set at goalie for the next couple of years. |
